When a visitor reaches your product page you have fractions of a second to try and create a conversion. One technique is to create a graphic “add to cart” button that draws the eye and provides a clear call to action on that page.
I use Adobe Fireworks to build these buttons for my clients due to its flexibility to work in both raster and vector formats. Fireworks is a great tool for web graphics and smaller projects where Photoshop can seem a bit overboard.

Being on the web all day I tend to read a lot of design blogs and tech articles as lame as it may sound through these articles I daily find tools and experiments in code that really keep me fired up about what I do. I began using Delicious about 3 years ago as a way to keep track and catalog some of these finds so “just in case I had that project someday” I would have adequate resources to at least be able to locate answers if needed.

So I received some positive feedback on the blogs I had a brief write up over in the testing blog that some of you may have seen and I decided to recreate that post and expand the listings in it.
To start I recently began really genuinely following blogs due to using Mozilla Thunderbird and it’s RSS reader accompanied by some nice add-ons, but that’s another post entirely. When I began reading and following I decided on 2 things to help me really push for inspiration without distraction.
